With NYFW, comes amazing hair & makeup looks. I know I have enjoyed looking at photos from the event and what products are being used. Did you know TRESemmé is used backstage at the New York Fashion Week Shows? I had no idea! I personally think that is amazing! Their products are super affordable, available at your local CVS and are hands down some of my favorites to use on my own hair.
You can find additional Fashion Week-inspired styles on the Your Style, Your Way page, but today we are going to talk about the Bohemian Braid.
Products You’ll Need:
- TRESemmé® Repair & Protect 7 Shampoo & Conditioner – The shampoo tackles seven different kinds of styling damage & helps reconstruct damaged hair fibers from the inside out. The conditioner penetrates the hair fiber to help repair from within, strengthening against breakage and split ends.
- TRESemmé® TWO Extra Hold Mousse – Strong enough to build fullness and light enough for easy application. It delivers maximum hold and control, without stiffness or stickiness.
- TRESemmé® Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo – This dry shampoo is GREAT! It is infused with Mineral Clay and Citrus and leaves no visible residue. It leaves hair shiny, manageable and looking salon-healthy.
- TRESemmé® TWO Extra Hold Hair Spray – Achieve maximum hold for every NYFW show! Humidity resistant, never sticky and sprays on dry.
How To Style: Since my hair is on the shorter side and has multiple layers, the Bohemian Braid was a struggle for me, but I totally made it work my way! If you have long hair with NO layers, follow the tutorial below. Head to CVS so you can recreate the exact look!

I needed some extra refreshing, so I went ahead and used the Fresh Start Dry Shampoo before beginning.
I went ahead and sectioned my hair into 3 parts over to the side and started to braid
I lightly sprayed the little flyaways as I was going along
