Earlier this month, one of my favorite bloggers launched her own polish brand and I couldn’t be more proud of her! B Polished is created by The Polished Mommy and has knocked me off of my feet! Not only did she launch polish, but top coats & quick dry spray as well! There are 8 shades in the collection and they are all absolutely stunning. Let’s take a look!
In light of recent events, she also wanted to make a statement and include a few words.
“B Polished was created and tested by Francine Brandow of, The Polished Mommy, a nail polish blog founded over 3 years ago. The Polished Mommy has been recognized as one of the Bloggers You Should Know by Nail It! magazine in 2013. B Polished nail lacquer is, and always will be, 5-Free. This means all of the nail lacquers in the B Polished line contain NO DBP (Dibutyl Phthalate),Toluene, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, and Camphor. There is no tampering or alterations made to the raw materials (i.e. base and pigments). Ignite The Night : Gold to orange to red multichrome with gold and red glass flecks. Photo below shows two coats.
Desert Sunset : Gold to orange to red multichrome textured polish with gold and red glass flecks. Photo below shows two coats.
Sea You At Sunset : Gold to green to teal multochrome with gold and green glass flecks. Photo below shows two coats.
Ocean View : Gold to green to teal textured polish with green and gold flecks. Photo below shows two coats.
Tropical Paradise : Fuchsia to purple to blue multichrome with purple and blue glass flecks. Photo below shows two coats.
Passion At Sundown : Fuchsia to purple to blue textured polish with purple and blue glass flecks. Photo below shows two coats.
Midnight In Death Valley : Richly pigmented jet black. Photo below shows two coats.
Sunset On Black Sand Beach : Rich black textured polish with rainbow flecks. Photo below shows two coats.
B Polished also came out with a Bump & Shine top coat. This top coat is specifically for textured polishes! It is a thin, fast drying top coat that seals on textured shades leaving them with a glossy shine but still preserving the textured finish. This will NOT smooth out your textured polishes. Here it is shown over Desert Sunset.
Along with the Bump & Shine top coat, is the Make It Stick Base Coat, Make It Shine top coat (Which was used in some of the photos above), Make It Satin top coat & Make It Dry.
Top To Bottom : Satin, Matte & Shine
Make It Dry is a quick dry setting liquid that is the finish step to any manicure. This liquid creates a protective layer that resists surface smudges and hydrates dry cuticles with jojoba and coconut oils. Apply 1-2 drops per nail after top coat.
For being new to the indie polish world, I have to say this collection kicks BUTT. I am so proud of Francine and the time and dedication she put into every detail really shows. The textures are incredible and every single shade had a flawless application. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for us for the future!
