I’m always looking for an affordable & amazing drugstore lipstick and I am pretty sure I just found my new holy grail! ELF was kind enough to send me some of their Moisturizing Lipsticks to swatch for you guys plus a few of their brand new shades that just launched. If you aren’t familiar, ELF, which stands for Eyes Lips Face, is an awesome drugstore brand that is incredibly affordable and has some pretty great products. There are quite a few ELF products that I consider holy grail status such as their eyeshadow brush (Which is $1!) concealer brush (Which I use for nail clean up) and their blush / bronzer duos.
The moisturizing lipsticks are part of their studio line and retail for $3 each. They come in a sleek black packaging and offer 13 color selections. All of the shades I am going to show you today are a velvety satin finish with a super creamy formula. They are enriched with shea and vitamins A, C & E to help nourish and hydrate the lips and also have a faint vanilla scent. These don’t offer a super long wear time, but the way they feel on the lips is incredible. They are SO creamy and smooth. A few of the shades are more pigmented than others, but for the price and formula – You can’t beat it.

Overall, I really have to give props to ELF for these lipsticks. I was incredibly impressed by the formula and how creamy they were. Because they are so creamy and soft, you need to be careful when applying. I had applied Crazy Cranberry & Ravishing Rose and they are so close to breaking out of the tube. I don’t know if thats completely my fault or the packaging.
Needless to say, for $3.00 I would definitely recommend grabbing a few of these shades from your local Target store (Which sells ELF) or on their site. Keep an eye out on their social media for deals & coupons and you can probably get these for even less!

Cheap lipsticks are my absolute favorite, because then I can buy a toooon of different shades and not be sad if a couple don’t look good on me. I haven’t bought any of these ELF lipsticks yet, but I’m definitely going to now!

These lipsticks look dreamy. For $3 I think I need one (or all of them, haha). The Studio line never ceases to surprise me! I like to use their brow gel since it’s only a dollar. And I really like their Mist & Set, too.
