Happy Tuesday! Today I have the brand new L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints to share with you! These are the first original six and have since released MORE shades!
The glazed lip paints are intensely pigmented and wear like a liquid lipstick with the high shine of a gloss. I was thoroughly impressed with these.
Shades include :
BabyDoll – Bubblegum Pink
Blushing – Medium Mauve
Coy – Bright lavender
Bombshell – Bright Fuchsia
Hot Mess – Medium Coral / Orange
Pin Up – Bright Cool Toned Red
I found the best way to apply these was with a lip brush. They have a small hole opening, but when I tried to apply it directly to my lips, I squeezed out WAY too much. So, I pop a little (I cannot stress how little of product you need!) on the lip brush and work slowly. I found the consistency to be a little bit thin, but not so thin that it was watery. (Does that make sense? Probably not haha)
Like I said, these are INCREDIBLY pigmented, so if bright colors are bold lips aren’t for you, you probably won’t get too much wear out of these. As far as wear time goes, I was able to rock Bombshell for a good 6 hours.
Look at that high shine!
My top picks would definitely be Bombshell & Blushing. Babydoll is GORGEOUS, but settled into my fine lines just a bit.
Of course all of the shades are beautiful, but I can definitely see myself wearing those two the most out of these six!
