L’Oreal claims these balms to give lips a high dose of pigmented shine, while smoothing and conditioning to keep lips soft and supple for hours on end.
While I did find that they were very comfortable to wear on the lips and provide a great deal of moisture, I was a tad disappointed with the pigmentation on some. The darker shades were GREAT and then the lighter shades left me wanting more color.
Baby Berry – This shade had great color pay off on the lips. If you’re just starting to experiment with the dark lip trend, this is a great product to try out. Because of the semi sheer coverage, it’s very easy to throw on when you’re on the go and not have to worry about a lip liner.
My BabyDoll – Very light pink. It was almost invisible on my lips. Also settled into my fine lines.
Petite Plum – Another one with great color pay off. Would make a great Fall lip shade!
Innocent Coral – Incredibly pretty shade on the lips. The color pay off was great!
Pink Me Up – One of my favorites in the collection. I love a good fuchsia shade and the pigmentation was great!
Ginger Candy – This was pretty much non existent on my lips. It’s a very very light nude. I can see myself just keeping this in my purse in case my lips are a little dry need a little somethin’ somethin’ during the day.
Lovely Mocha – Classic MLBB shade. Another one that is great to keep around when you need to touch up.
Overall, the darker shades are definitely worth checking out. While they were moisturizing and comfortable to wear, they also provided just the right amount of sheen to your lips. I like how you can just apply these without using a mirror if you’re on the go.
As far as wear time goes, don’t expect them to last all day. I was able to get a few hours at most when I wore Baby Berry. But the plus side to that is, I know I can just go ahead and reapply easily plus give my lips a little extra moisture during the day.
Top Picks : Baby Berry, Pink Me Up & Innocent Coral

I have and LOVE these! Innocent Coral is my top pick!
Any idea how these stack up to the Revlons? I miss seeing a red in this set because they sound fab. Petite Plum reminds me of the ubiquitous ’90s shade, Rum Raisin… Is it coming back?!!?! lol.
The Revlon balms are much more pigmented. These are definitely more sheer. Both are great in their own way!
Hahah and you know everyone is all about the 90’s lip now!

I agree with you about “Pink Me Up”. It is one of the few drugstore products I own and the color is fantastic. I reviewed it a few weeks ago I think π
