ColourPop Eyeshadows – Swatches & Review (18 Shades) + GIVEAWAY!

Last month, my friend Dani over at Coffee Break With Dani  (Subscribe to her ASAP!) did a video about ColourPop Eyeshadows and pretty much said they were the bees knees. So of course, I had to see what the big deal was and ordered some. (Ok, a lot) and was also sent 6 directly from ColourPop HQ as well.  For $5, you can’t go wrong. They have every single color imaginable and also some incredibly unique shades. If you love brights, they have brights or if you’re a neutrals girl (like me) they have a TON! 
So what makes these so special? I’m convinced there are magical fairies living in these shadows. They are a pigment / eyeshadow mixture with an incredible amount of pigmentation. These are NO JOKE. I know you’re thinking.. ‘They’re $5.. they can’t be THAT great’.  Just hear me out (And I’m pretty sure the swatches will convince you) 
They come in a pretty white pot with a clear lid so you can easily see what color you’re grabbing for. But make sure when you’re done, you close that sucker up tight! Don’t let the magical fairies loose! 
I have been applying these with both my finger and a flat shader brush. If you want super maximum coverage, I would recommend using your finger and tap the shadow onto the lid. Either way works – You’re still going to get a GREAT look!

Cheeky : Candy coral pink with duo chrome satin finish

Fringe : Shimmering champagne with gold and silver glitter

3 : Cool toned bronze with silver and multi colored glitter
Pop Rocks : Cool toned cornflower blue with a CRAPton of multi colored glitter in a metallic finish

Desert : Warm saddle brown with a taupe satin finish

Girly : Creamy vanilla with a flash of pink and gold duo chrome 

On The Rocks : Vibrant true bronze with gold and violet glitter
Lovely : Soft light gold with shimmering flecks of multi dimensional glitter 

Chipper : Mid tone mint green with multi coloured glitter

Smash : Neutral medium warm beige with a soft golden satin finish

Sequin : Copper penny shade with silver and gold glitter
Ibiza : Bright turquoise with silver and gold duo chrome finish

Amaze : Metallic rose gold with multi colored / multi dimensional glitter

Meow : Gunmetal doused with pink, violet & silver glitter

Truth : Neutral light beige with a satin finish
I Heart This : Cool toned silvery taupe with multi colored glitter

Get Lucky : Intense ulta metallic true liquid gold


And those are the 18 shades that I have! (And trust me, my cart is literally filled with about 10 more that I need in my life)
I am incredibly impressed with this brand – I not only love their spunk, but their products are SO ridiculously affordable. They are also coming out with 33 (!!!) lipsticks soon that I believe will also be $5 a piece!

    Ibiza is my overall favorite (I LOVE turquoise), but I think the one that I’d be most likely to wear is Meow. They’re all pretty great shades though. I might have to indulge πŸ™‚

    Summer Lovin and On The Rocks are calling me, but so are most of the others lol! I have seen some great IG posts with the Colour Pop eyeshadows. They are unbelievable…$5 and they are stunning!! I can’t wait to try!

    wow that’s hard to believe they’re only $5. i’ve only been using urban decay eyeshadows because i’ve been so disappointed by other eyeshadow pigmentation.. but these come out great!

    I seriously can’t decide which I like the best! They all look stunning! Such a great choice of neutrals and brights. I’ve been dying to try them ever since I watched Dani’s review on them. They look so pigmented! But unfortunately I don’t think they’re available here in the UK πŸ™ Great review and thankyou for the fab giveaway. Fingers crossed I win, it was my birthday yesterday (the 7th) πŸ™‚

    Considering the fact I wash it down the drain every night, I’ve always been hesitant to spend a ton of money on makeup. There are a few things I’ll invest in, but not eye shadows because I like to have lots of different colors. These are perfect for me.
