Skincare & Foundation
Boscia Makeup BreakUp Cool Cleansing Oil* – I’ve never been into cleansing oils, but I started using this at the end of May and HAD to sneak it in here because I couldn’t wait until my June faves! This is an incredible makeup remover that also leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean. It does an ok job with eye makeup, but as far as the rest of your face, it is a miracle worker! Buy HERE | $28
Gerard Cosmetics BB Illuminator* – Gerard Cosmetics also makes the famous Whitening Lightning glosses that I LOVE, so when they sent me their new highlighter to try, I was ecstatic! I have been mixing this into my foundation and it gives my skin such a pretty & subtle glow. Buy HERE | $36 (Use code loveforlacquer for 25% off!)
Smashbox Studio Skin Foundation* – Obsessed doesn’t even begin as to how I’m feeling about this foundation. It’s so light and hydrating and gives the most AMAZING coverage on my skin. Best of all, it’s oil free! It lasts a good 9 hours on me and doesn’t fade at all. Highly recommend! Buy HERE | $42
Face Powders
Serenity + Scott Pressed Powder Foundation – My good friend Sami from SammysMakeupCorner on Youtube introduced me to S+S in April when we were at IMATS NYC. She said this was her holy grail powder and we all HAD to buy it. So I did. And I can’t thank her enough. This is hands down the BEST powder I have ever used. In life. It’s incredibly silky and gives off the most incredible coverage. It seriously just melts right into your skin. I will have a review up soon of some additional S+S products! Buy HERE | $26
Makeup Forever HD Powder* – This powder is fabulous for setting your foundation or undereye concealer. Use it very very sparingly or else you will get a white cast in photos.. and I don’t think you want to pull an Angelina Jolie. (Know what I’m sayin?) Buy HERE | $34
Blush
Gorgeous Cosmetics Cosmopolitan* – Love love love this matte pink blush! It’s one of those blushes that requires no effort and blends in like a dream. Gorgeous Cosmetics is easily becoming one of my all time favorite high end brands! Coming up later this week, I am going to be hosting a HUGE giveaway and reviewing a ton of other items as well. Stay tuned! Buy HERE | $25
Kat Von D Bellisima* – Where has this blush been all my life!? It’s literally everything & more. It’s a perfect peach with subtle shimmer and looks incredible on the skin. This is a MUST HAVE to put on your Sephora wish list! Buy HERE | $25
Bodyography Parasol *- Bodyography is a new to me brand and I am so happy I discovered them! They are cruelty & paraben free and have the most AMAZING products. You’ll see a few of their lip products in a second and then a TON of other swatches this week! This blush in parasol is super soft and highly highly pigmented. Very easy to blend out and the color range is incredible. Buy HERE | $17
Bronzer
Tat2U Totally Tan* – I discovered the brand Tat2U at NYC IMATS & bought a TON of lip products from them. When they asked me if I wanted to review a few other items, I of course said yes! This bronzer is absolutely perfect! I only need to lightly dab my brush in the pan to pick up product and it distributes the perfect amount on my face. I can’t wait to show you guys some of the other items I have from them. Stay tuned! Buy HERE | $26

Makeup Brushes
Makeup Forever Powder Kabuki Brush* – I use this with the HD powder and it’s a match made in heaven! SO incredibly soft! Buy HERE | $52
Luxie Lush Powder & Blush Brushes*- I did an entire review on these, so I won’t go into too much detail but I absolutely adore these! You can read my full review HERE
Giorgio Armani Large Eye Contour Brush* – Amazing amazing eye brush! I’ve been using it to blend out my crease and it performs flawlessly! Buy HERE | $41
Senna Cosmetics Powder Point Brush – Definitely my new go to for applying highlighter! My friend Casey over at beauty101blog.com recommended this when we were at The Makeup Show last month and said it would change my life. It did. The bristles are incredibly soft and I absolutely love the handle! Buy HERE | $38
Lips
Bodyography Electric Lip Slides* (Shades – Caught In The Act, Cupid’s Beau & Tickled Pink) – These lipsticks / stains are INCREDIBLE. The color pay off is extremely intense, moisturizing and very very easy to wear and apply on the lips. Wear time for me is about 4-5 hours, and they do leave a nice stain behind. Highly recommend! Buy HERE | $19
Gorgeous Cosmetics Pink Flip* – The perfect MLBB shade! Even though I wore this a max of 3 times last month, it needed to be mentioned. It’s such a gorgeous shade and is so effortless to put on. Unfortunately, I don’t have a swatch for you because when I went to swatch this last night it was half melting and broke off in the tube. It’s currently in the freezer so I’m hoping to repair it later on today.
MAC Blankety – I’ve been into nude lips lately and I think I may have found a perfect shade! Blankety looks scary in the tube, but I promise you it’s a really really fabulous shade on the lips. Buy HERE | $16
Tanya Burr Picnic In The Park Gloss* – I have reviewed several of her glosses before and we all know how much I adore them! I was sent 2 more and Picnic In The Park is definitely a staple in my makeup bag. It’s the perfect everyday gloss! Buy HERE | $5.99
City Lips LosAngelips* – If you want to plump up your lips, CityLips is the product for you! Not only is it a great lip plumper without all of the needles, it keeps your lips moisturized and the tingle isn’t painful when applied. I’ve been using it over a lipstick because the shade is very very sheer and it still works! Buy HERE | $35 (Use promo code lacquer for 25% off!)
NARS Satin Lip Pencil Rikugien – I have been using this in conjunction with Jouer Sorbet* and it has seriously been one of the BEST lip combos ever! The 2 products go so well together and make the most beautiful shade! Buy Jouer HERE | $20 / Buy NARS HERE | $25

Simple Human Sensor Mirror – Buy HERE
If you’re looking for an incredible light up mirror to apply your makeup, this is IT! Yes I know it’s a tad bit pricey, but honestly it’s 100% worth it.
It has a 5x magnifying mirror so you can see every single pore and imperfection on your skin (This scared me at first.. but now I totally dig it when I’m trying to pluck. Over pluckers beware haha)
It has a tru-lux lighting system which mimics natural sunlight to make applying makeup a breeze!
When the mirror isn’t in use, the light shuts off when it does not detect your face. Pretty awesome feature and it doesn’t waste the energy! The mirror is also adjustable as well!
It is also cordless, so this can be moved anywhere you please. To charge, you plug it in for a few hours and you’re good to go for up to 5 weeks! I think I’ve only had to charge mine twice since I’ve had it.
Overall, it’s a definite must have for me and I would highly recommend this if you’re looking for a great vanity mirror.

That wraps up my April & May favorites! Of course I also have to shout out going to two major events the past 2 months – IMATS NYC & The Makeup Show NYC. They were such a blast to attend and of course I had amazing company. xo
