According to the Dermalogica site :

You can use this on it’s own or by mixing it with your every day moisturizer. The formula is a very thin serum. I found it worked best when I used it on it’s own. It really hydrated my skin and helped the dry patches I have around my nose area. The results were absolutely amazing!
I didn’t have any issues with this breaking me out, so that’s always a huge plus in my book! I will definitely continue to use this in the colder months and when I need a little more hydration in my skin!
