Cult Nails Casual Elegance Collection – Swatches & Review

Good afternoon! Today I have swatches of the *new* limited edition 3 piece Casual Elegance collection from Cult Nails! These will be released in a special pre-order beginning Wednesday March 19th at 12am EST and run until April 2nd 12am EST (Or until supplies last) Only 500 sets of these will be available so act fast!  Also included with this set will be a sample of Nail Vinyls created by Linda Davis. You will receive a set of precut chevron designs that you can use to create a nail art look! The sample will be enough to do 2 accent nails. I’m really excited to play around with mine!

This is a small collection featuring 3 shades of purple with 3 different finishes – Cream, holo & glitter. All of these shades can be worn alone or together for a unique look!

Intriguing – Soft periwinkle with a light holographic finish. Definitely my favorite out of the 3! I love the subtle holo look mixed with the periwinkle shade.  Formula was super easy to work with. Photo below shows two coats.

Winter’s Light – Blue & purple micro glitters in a jelly base.  This is a fantastic layering shade and can be worn over your favorite Cult Nails polish! I have two coats layered over Casual Elegance.  I tried to apply on it’s own, but it was a bit patchy and I wasn’t too thrilled with how it looked. I much prefer it layered! This would make an awesome gradient glitter!
Casual Elegance – Soft pale purple cream.  This shade was easily a one coater, but I used two for good measure. I didn’t find it streaky or difficult to work with whatsoever. 
Overall, I think this is such a fun collection that will take away the Winter blues! Intriguing is by FAR a winner in my book and is the star of this collection!
