I don’t think I have ever done any sort of nail or makeup tutorial on my blog, so I thought it would be super fun to do one for Spring! This look is extremely easy to do and will cost you LESS than $30 to achieve! Plus, you can find all of these items at your local Walgreens store. They have a wide range of beauty products and really great deals!
I love going to my Walgreens when I want to check out all of the newest drugstore products. Everything is very organized and clean and makes the shopping experience extremely pleasant.
I knew I wanted to pick up some Covergirl polishes because they are AMAZING. They are easy to apply, dry to a shiny finish even without top coat and last for days!
Look how organized this display is! Super impressive!
So here’s what you’ll need to be Spring ready!
Essie – Fill The Gap Nail Treatment
Covergirl Polish in Lav-endure
L’oreal Nail Lingerie in Something About Her
Covergirl Top Coat
Step 1: – Prepare your nails! I love using a ridge filler when applying pastel shades to my nails. It smoothes the nail beds down and creates a perfect canvas. Make sure this dries completely before applying your polish!
Step 2 – Apply your favorite pastel shade. I would recommend using two coats with Lav-Endure. I didn’t find this streaky AT ALL!
Step 3 – *VERY* important – You MUST wait until your polish is fully dry before you begin to apply your nail stickers. Find the correct sticker that will match best with your nail beds. You will then need to file or trim off the excess.
And voila! Your finished manicure look! You can put the nail stickers on all of your nails or accent them like I did! Whatever you prefer!
Is this something you want to try for yourself? If you do try it, be sure to tag #WalgreensBeauty so I can see! What kinds of awesome things do you go to Walgreens for?
