Skincare
Urban Decay B6 Vitamin Infused Prep Spray – When I first got this to try, I was a little weary of it. Was it REALLY going to reduce redness before I did my makeup? Was it REALLY going to reduce pores and minimize oil? The answer is 100% YES! I spray this on my face after I moisturize and right before I apply my foundation. It’s incredibly hydrating and definitely gets rid of my redness on my skin. You only need a few spritzes and can also use it at night. This has definitely been a holy grail in my makeup routine! Brushes
My most used brushes / applicators this month have definitely been my IT Cosmetics Jumbo Powder Bush, My ELF Kabuki and of course my Beauty Blender!
I love keeping the Kabuki in my purse for quick touch ups throughout the day. I think this was around $3 and can be purchased at Target stores!
The IT Cosmetics powder brush is PERFECT for applying my face powder (Which we’ll get to in a bit) I love how HUGE it is and the bristles are incredibly soft! Buy Here | $58
I talked about my new beauty blender a few days ago (I’m also giving TWO away so be sure to check out that post – I’ll link it at the end!) I don’t know why I haven’t gotten one of these sooner! It applies my foundation beautifully and is so simple to use. Buy Here | $19.99 | Planet Beauty – $19.95
Foundation
I’ve been going back & forth between two foundations and I am LOVING both of them! (Obviously or else they wouldn’t be in here!)
Tarte Maracuka Miracle Foundation (Light) – I’ve heard a few people talk about this and saw it was on sale on Tarte’s website so I snatched it up. I am extremely sad to say that it is being discontinued. I don’t know why because it is phenomenal! It matches my skin perfect and covers like a dream. It’s very lightweight and lasts an incredible time on my skin. I hope Tarte reconsiders discontinuing this because I am going to be so sad once it’s gone! Buy Here | $21
Smashbox Liquid Halo Foundation #4 – I like to call this my ‘skin but better’ foundation. It’s a light to medium coverage and makes your skin GLOW. My skin is getting drier now that the colder months are coming around and this moisturizes it and doesn’t give me dry patches around my nose & forehead area. It’s also a GREAT foundation if you’re going out at night and know you’re going to have your photo taken. It makes you look flawless! Next time you’re in Sephora, grab a sample to try out! Face Products
Urban Decay Naked Skin Pressed Powder – I’ve been using this to set both of the foundations I talked about above. It provides the perfect amount of extra coverage needed. Can we talk about the packaging for a minute? Incredible! The powder is so finely milled that you only need a TINY bit. Trust me. A little bit goes a long way with this. If you swirl your brush into the product and put it all over your face, you’re going to look cakey. I use the IT Cosmetics Powder Brush I talked about above and lightly tap it in there. Highly recommend! Buy Here | $34
Anastasia Brow Powder Duo, Mini Spooley & Clear Brow Gel – Oh Anastasia. Where have you been all my life? Now I know why so many people rave on & on about her products – They are AMAZING. I have the brow powder duo in dark brown and it matches perfectly. I have been using it with the corresponding mini spooley and brow gel and my brows have never looked better! I have been using a clear mascara to hold my brows in place and as soon as I tried out Anastasia’s, I threw that one out. This one isn’t crunchy and actually keeps them in place all day long. They are also very handy to keep in your bag in case for some reason you want to touch up. Brow Gel – $22 | Brow Powder Duo | $23 | Spooley – $18
Eyeshadow
bareMinerals The Truth Palette – You heard me talk about this in my QVC post so I won’t go into great detail again but I have been using this NON stop! It’s incredibly easy to create an everyday look and the shadows blend so well together. If you’re a neutral palette lover, you absolutely have to pick this up! Buy Here | $30
Blush / Highlight
MAC Plum Foolery – Am I the only crazy one who digs out all of their MAC blushes as soon as Fall rolls around and places them in their own drawer to use? Yes? Thought so. I have been using the crap out of MAC’s Plum Foolery. It’s the perfect Fall blush! It’s a plummy mauve color with a hint of golden shimmer. It looks incredible on the cheeks and screams Fall! Buy Here | $21
Benefit Rockateur – The newest boxed blush from Benefit does NOT disappoint! Rockateur is a stunning rose gold peach blush with beautiful gold shimmer. And call me crazy, but it also smells delicious! Benefit boxed blushes are some of my all time favorite products. They are easy to blend and the color payoff is fantastic. They are a tad bit pricey, but I swear they will last you forever! Buy Here | $28
IT Cosmetics Hello Light Powder Highlighter – Ah my obsession with IT continues. IT makes an incredible highlight powder and I have been wearing the crap out of it. It gives my skin an incredible sheen & glow to it. This champagne powder is very finely milled and is incredibly soft. I love using this with my IT fan brush! Perfect combination! Buy Here | $24
Lip Products
Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy #400 – I have nothing else to say about this except this is THE perfect red. Giorgio Armani just released a brand new lipstick line called ‘Rouge Ecstasy’ and includes over 20 different shades. They have a velvety soft formula that glides incredibly on your lips. And the staying power? Forget about it. It will last you for days. I wore this exact color to a recent wedding and I barely had to touch up after eating & drinking. I will have a full review with a few more colors up very soon! Buy Here | $34
MAC Flat Out Fabulous – This was part of MAC’s new Retro Matte collection that came out last month. Flat Out Fabulous is a gorgeous hot pink matte color. I am absolutely obsessed with their new retro matte finish. I do have fairly dry lips, but if I moisturize well enough with my Nivea lip balm, it doesn’t go on patchy at all or show all of my fine lines. This color says ‘coming soon’ on the MAC website, which means they will most likely restock soon. Good news though! It’s readily available on Nordstrom! Buy Here | $15
MAC Feed The Senses – Another limited edition MAC color – I’m sorry! I recently purchased this off of a blog sale because one of my youtube besties Laura, or MrsLolaLynn was RAVING about this color on her Instagram! Feed The Senses is an incredible mauvey pinkish nude. It’s a perfect everyday color! (I may have also purchased a backup) Sold Out 🙁
Jouer Lipgloss in Sorbet – I have a TON of Jouer products I’m gearing up to share with you in the next week or so, so I don’t want to go too much into detail. The lipgloss I have been wearing like CRAZY though is Sorbet. It’s a gorgeous peach with golden shimmer. Jouer lipglosses are some of the BEST I have ever found. They are not sticky and feel really great on my lips. Like I said, I have TONS of other products from them to talk about so stay tuned! Buy Here | $20
