Recently, I had the opportunity to try out the infamous Beauty Blender. The original and ultimate makeup sponge. I had tried a few “dupes” in the past, but once I got the real thing I threw them all away! Nothing in the world beats the original. It applies my foundation completely flawlessly and gives me a gorgeous airbrush finished look. It’s egg shaped and comes in 3 different colors – Pink, Black & White.
Mine is completely filthy right now, which is why you’re getting a stock photo! Basically all you do to get a flawless finish is dampen your beauty blender and squeeze out all of the excess water with a towel. I will usually dot some product onto my face and then just begin bouncing (Or stippling) the sponge up & down to blend in my foundation or concealer.
Cleaning them is extremely easy. I just use some baby shampoo like I normally would with my makeup brushes or you can use their solid cleanser.
I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to use a beauty blender. This is all I have been using for the past few weeks and I couldn’t be more thrilled with it!
They are a bit pricey at $20 a pop, but if you were to go out and buy a really great foundation brush, you would be spending almost the same amount. This is FAR better in my opinion!
