Hi guys! I’m away on vacation for a few days so my wonderful friend Rachel over at Youtube.com/GlowOfGrace has agreed to guest post AND make a video tutorial for you all today!! I hope you love it as much as I do! See you when I get back! xo
**
Hi! My name is Rachel and I’m just a fun-loving, bubbly girl looking to inspire girls with beauty and grace. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Chinese and English, I pursued a career in fashion merchandising at the corporate offices of Abercrombie & Fitch, and later EXPRESS. I enjoyed my job, but after two years, I left the corporate world to take on the role of a full time baseball wife. I packed up myself and our two cats to join my husband Kyle on the road, and it was then that I decided to share my passion for all things beauty with all of you. And so, GlowofGrace.com was born. I’ve been so blessed by the recent growth of my YouTube Channel, and even more blessed by the wonderful women I’ve come to know and befriend. I’m so honored to be writing a guest post for Jess today, so thank y’all for having me. Jess — you’re the sweetest and I’m beyond grateful for our friendship.
Fall is finally here, and it’s my absolute favorite season. The changing and falling leaves. The crisp, cool air. The college football (Go Irish!). The Pumpkin Spice Lattes. It just doesn’t get much better than all of that. As most of you will probably know, Urban Decay just released it’s new holiday collection, which included 20 brand new eye shadows in the Vice2 Palette. I did a review that takes you through the whole palette, shadow by shadow, swatch by swatch, so we don’t need to get into that here, but let’s just say they blew this Urban Decay junkie away. The rich, vibrant colors and the buttery formulas are unprecedented and unbeatable. After three different Naked Palettes, the fact that UD has come up with multiple brown shadows that make me drool is just awe inspiring. Naturally, I couldn’t wait to start filming tutorials for y’all! I thought that a warm, ombre eye inspired by the changing leaves, paired with what’s become my signature red lip would be the perfect way to kick off the season and my Vice2 series. So let’s just jump right in, shall we?
This subtle ombre from rose gold to deep brown is perfect for a day-to-night look as the weather cools off. And if you’ve been itching to try out a vampy, red lip, fall is the perfect time to rock a bold lip, and this combo has recently become my signature. I love it so much that it’s been on my lips nearly every day for a month, and it’s definitely here to stay.
I hope y’all have enjoyed this tutorial! Stay tuned for more Vice2 tutorials, but until then, many kisses from me to you!
Best & Blessings,
Rachel
