philosophy Hope In A Jar – As soon as the seasons change from summer to fall, my skin immediately takes a beating. It gets incredibly dry so I really need a great moisturizer to fix that. Hope In A Jar does just that. It feels so light and fresh on the skin and really brings life back into your face. I absolutely love it! Buy Here
tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation w/ Brush – If I want a full coverage foundation, this is usually the one I turn to. It gives me flawless coverage especially when I use the airbrush finish foundation brush that you get along with it. It works for all skin types whether you’re dry, oily or combo. I actually own two of these brushes just because they are that amazing! You can also buy the brush on it’s own, but you get a much better deal when you buy the duo. Buy Here – $38
Laura Geller Beauty Balance N Brighten Baked Foundation – If liquid foundations aren’t for you, Laura Geller makes an incredible baked powder foundation. Not only does it give you great coverage, it corrects and brightens to balance your complexion. You also get a great retractable brush for fool proof application. I have mine in the universal shade ‘ Regular’ and it matches perfectly. I also love using this over the Tarte foundation for a bit of extra coverage or to touch up throughout the day. Buy Here – $40
tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Concealer – On the days when Rylan wakes me up at the crack of dawn, this is what I turn to to erase those dark circles under my eyes. I LOVE the fact that this also comes with a double ended concealer brush as well. One side is perfect for applying and the other side blends it out evenly. It covers amazingly and leaves my under eyes hydrated. Definitely a must have! Buy Here – $25
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer – In addition to using the tarte concealer, I have been grabbing my Bobbi Brown creamy concealer in the shade ‘Sand’ for blemishes. This also works as a wonderful under eye concealer as well. I find that this one is so much easier to throw in your makeup bag when you’re on the go for touch ups. It blends super well and doesn’t cake or settle into fine lines. Buy Here – $22
(Obviously you can see from the above photo, it’s been rolling around in my makeup bag haha)
Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder – Why hasn’t anyone told me before how amazing Bobbi Brown bronzers are?! I have mine in the shade medium and it looks really dark and scary in the pan, but it blends out beautifully on the skin. The fact that it’s also matte is a huge plus for me as well. I love sweeping it on my forehead, nose & chin for a sunkissed look. Buy Here – $35
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick – Nectar – While we’re on the topic of amazing face products, I think every girl needs a Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in their makeup bag. There are so many ways to use this, it’s crazy! You can use them as eyeshadow, highlight or blush. I usually swirl my brush around to get a good mix of colors and pop a bit on my cheeks for a flushed look. No need to use or carry a highlight with you, because this product will do the trick just as well! Buy Here – $38
Bronzer & Shimmer Brick Swatches
It Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Blush in Matte Sweet Apple – If shimmer isn’t your thing and you prefer a matte blush, look no further. It Cosmetics has become one of my new obsessions lately and their blushes are to die for. I only own one for now, but you better believe I will be snagging the rest of the colors they offer! They are so soft and creamy and highly highly pigmented. Amazing quality and definitely comparable to MAC blushes. QVC offers the blush AND brush combo for a great price! Buy Here – $35
Swatch
It Cosmetics Hello Lashes Mascara – Speaking of IT Cosmetics, I had a chance to try out their Hello Lashes mascara and I have to say I’m impressed. I have seen so many mixed reviews but that is to be expected with any beauty product. I think the thing that I love most about this is the magic wand ball tip. It really gets every single lash and doesn’t clump or flake. After I was done applying, I literally said ‘Hello Lashes!’ – It’s not just a clever name folks! Buy Here – $24
bare Minerals Ready Eyeshadow Quads (The Comfort Zone & The Truth) – I think it’s incredibly important that you can create an entire look using one eyeshadow palette. When you’re on the go or running late, you don’t have time to look through 4 or 5 palettes and come up with an entire look. And that’s exactly what I love about the bare Minerals Ready Quads. All of the shadows in the quad go together making it incredibly easy to work with. Whether you’re a neutrals girl or want a fun pop of color, they have something for everyone! I chose these two because they are perfect quads for ‘easy eyes’ – You can sweep on two or three colors (Or heck even just one!) and be out the door in no time. They have a NARS like rubber packaging, so they will get dirty pretty quickly. Buy Here – $30
The Truth, Comfort Zone
The Truth contains 4 incredibly creamy neutral shadows
I absolutely LOVE Magnetism & Fate!
And if you want something a bit more subtle, The Comfort Zone is perfect!
tarte LipSurgence Lip Stain – This is hands down one of the BEST products from Tarte. If you’re a fan of any of the jumbo balm stains, you will love these! I have tons and cannot get enough. They come in so many different colors & finishes and soften and moisturize your lips. They do have a peppermint smell, so if that’s not something you enjoy you will probably be turned off by it. I chose the color ‘perky’ for my top pick because I felt like anyone could wear it and it’s such an easy everyday color. Buy Here – $24
One more thing I wanted to mention was that ALL of these products are nominated for the 5th Annual QVC Customer Choice Beauty Awards! Love some of your picks…I also am a biggie fan of the Tarte Full Coverage foundation (and the BB cream that used to be another product name with the AC is great too for days I only want an SFP and something to even me out…and then always use the Tarte AC finishing powder – that clay keeps the shine off all day/night long which is amazing and it does not fade away or sink into my skin…love, love…and thanks – did not know they changed the AC concealer…I had 2 in a stick form and thought the ones in the tube were the Maracujia oil ones that I did not like for my skin type but adore the AC one -thrilled to know it’s in a new formula/packaging…yeah! also love the It cheek stains – wow…I have color that lasts and last but does not look like I have something piled on – you can see through it to my skin! I need a more red one and one that is maybe either peachy or a mauve…mine is quite pink. Been wanting to try the IT mascara…thanks for the recommendation. – nice colors on the shadows…had been iffy about trying any of the BE shadows since they sold and were all reformulated. Not a fan of Hope in the jar have to say – used to be – but something went when it was sold to Coty and Philosophy formulas on almost everything changed…love the TarteLipsurgances…I also have a ton of ’em and a lot of colors – the Fever for winter is great for me…Try the It Lipstains too…they last and last and last.
