First up are three makeup brushes I have been using like CRAZY. I used them for a week or so, washed them and then continued to use them which is why they are kind of dirty in these photos. I was sent the bronzer, foundation & blush brush. And because I’m a total rebel, I have been using them for different things than intended for. These brushes are made up of all super soft synthetic fibers and are animal & cruelty free.
Foundation Brush
You can clearly see I have not been using this for foundation unless I am Miss Piggy. I have actually been using this for blush and it rocks my world. In my opinion, the bristles are way too soft to be a liquid foundation brush and I don’t wear mineral makeup so blush was the next best thing! It fits on my cheeks perfectly and gives a perfect application!
Bronzer Brush
I have definitely been using this for bronzer when I want a nice sun kissed look. Very soft bristles and works wonderfully!
Blush Brush
This one I have been using with Benefit’s Hoola for a slight contour. Before that, I was using it for blush as well. Works great for either task!
Light Up Lipgloss
Light up lipgloss has been my new obsession lately. The packaging is incredibly genius if you’re in a not so well lit room. On one side there is a mirror and when you twist the top off, you can see the little light.
I tested out two different colors – Brickhouse, a deep red and Come Hither, a fun hot pink. Both were very well pigmented and creamy. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the scent. It was too fruity for me and I prefer a vanilla sweet smell.
Mineral Eyeshadow Palette in Cashmere
Last but not least, is one of their limited edition mineral eyeshadow palettes. I chose the shade ‘Cashmere’ because it had a good mix of neutrals, golds & browns. All of the shadows are shimmery and had pretty good pigmentation. All swatches are shown without primer.
I was rather confused about the plastic pieces on the bottom of the shadows. When I tried to remove them, the entire shadow pan came out. I guess if you wanted to switch colors from this one and the Photo Op palette, you can do that as well.
Swatches
Overall, I had a really great experience with Bella Terra. The brushes are by far the standout for me. They were so soft and held up really well after being washed and dried. I didn’t notice any shedding whatsoever. I definitely need to grab the rest of the line!
