I knew when I woke up this morning, I probably wouldn’t have a weight loss. I ended up having dinner with Chris on Friday and I went out this weekend with my mom and grandma for our monthly dinner outing. So of course I ate scallops & pasta & had wine. (And maybe a margarita. Oops. ) I didn’t gain or lose anything so I’m not terribly upset that I went out and enjoyed myself.
Even though I didn’t lose anything this week, I still feel great! My energy level is still pretty high and I have had people tell me I look thinner. So that’s pretty awesome all in itself.
Back on track this week and I’m hoping I can finally hit my 10lb weight loss goal!

Oh man, yea, eating out will totally mess things up sometimes but hey, you gotta live it up! We went out to eat on Saturday night and it was great! As long as you don’t eat so much junk that you feel awful afterwards, haha. Keep on truckin’, Jess! <3

I think this is a good way to diet- you do good for a couple weeks and then have an off outing. Since you didn’t gain anything back I’d say you were going great! You’re staying focused and that is commendable. Now if only I can get the motivation to get started and lose the baby weight, lol!

Its not a failure everyone has a plateau. You have changed the way you eat, you said your energy level was better its all positive. Your doing a great job and I think its great that you could go out with your family and enjoy yourself and didn’t feel guilty and that is the best thing. Most people would beat themselves up about that so for you to say yep I went out did what I wanted is a huge plus.

Way to stay motivated, Jess! And I agree…you need to go out and enjoy yourself still…if you never let yourself enjoy yourself, you won’t stick to it!
