As soon as I saw the new Autumn Nights collection and read the names, my mind went straight to Gossip Girl. If you’re a huge fan of the show, you’ll see what I’m talking about once we go through the polishes one by one. I could be just extremely crazy though! Autumn Nights is made up of 12 gorgeous & rich colors with different finish variations. Let’s jump right in!
Queen B – Regal blue / purple cream. Now about the name of this… Am I Right? Total Blair Waldorf! Hah! Queen B is a gorgeous blurple cream with a fantastic application. I only needed two coats for the photo below.
Charmed, I’m Sure – Eggplant purple cream. This one is so pretty! I can’t wait to rock this on shorter nails in a few months! Great application as well. Photo below shows two coats.
Don’t Make Me Wine – Red violet shimmer. This color absolutely makes me want to sit by the fire with a glass of red wine. Absolutely stunning color! No problems with application. Photo below shows two coats.
Goldie But Goodie – Rust Gold Shimmer. It’s like jewels for your nails! This is absolutely STUNNING in person and I am so mad my camera couldn’t capture all of it’s beauty! Photo below shows two coats.
Gossip Over Gimlets – The silver version of Goldie But Goodie. Another striking shade that makes you feel luxurious! I love the gold flecks shining through! Photo below shows two coats.
Kiss My Glass – Blue / gunmetal frosted shimmer. Another fabulous grey I get to add to my collection! Application was not too bad – Just use small brush strokes! Photo below shows two coats.
Public Relations – Violet gunmetal shimmer. This one is darker than Kiss My Glass and pulls a lot more purple. I know it’s hard to tell in the photos, but they are rather different! I think I actually prefer this one! Photo below shows two coats.
Red-Y & Willing – Frisky red shimmer. We are going to see so many reds come out, so it’s hard to make one stand out from the rest. I love that this has more of a cranberry tone to it. Application was good. Photo below shows two coats.
Scandalous Shenanigans – Rich blue shimmer. I LOVE this one! It’s so regal and pretty! Application was pretty good. Photo below shows two coats.
Strike Up A Cosmo – Sparkling rose gold shimmer. Definitely one of the stand outs in this collection. Perfect rose gold with gold & pink shimmer. Flawless application. Photo below shows two coats.
Tongue & Chic – Emerald shimmer. Finally we’re seeing the pantone color of the year from a company! I am smitten with this color! It took me forever to get a color accurate shot, and this is as pretty close as I could get it. It’s so rich and beautiful in person! Photo below shows two coats.
Rendezvous With You – Shimmery purple with gold flecks. And now for the STAND OUT of this collection! I had to include more than one photo because I love it so much! If you can only get ONE polish from this collection, I would recommend this one. The application was the best out of the 12 and the color is stunning. Photos below show two coats.
Autumn Nights is a fantastic Fall collection from China Glaze. There is definitely a finish for everyone and they were really on point with application. I didn’t have any issues with streakiness or not being opaque enough. Every single swatch was two coats and some even could have had one.

Really pretty swatches Jess, but these polishes just aren’t really my personal style…they seem a bit frosty for my tastes! But I do love Strike Up A Cosmo and Rendezvous With You!! The first two cremes you swatched are nice too!

I love the Strike Up A Cosmo and Rendezvous polishes but the rest are kinda streaky and not my favourites. I generally love CG though! Their application rocks 🙂

Rendezvous With You is the only one I’m excited about right now. The others are pretty, but I’m not sure if I need them … knowing me though – I’ll still get them
I really love this collection. Each of them calls to me a little bit. I like that they are good in two coats. I am impatient and if I have to fiddle with the polish too much I get frustrated.
I’m not a huge fan of metallics but these are so pretty and just scream fall!
wow gorgeous swatches!!!! why do I always fall for their colors but am still not a fan of their formula? and I tell you those ChG bottles never do the colors justice- they are so much nicer on the nail. what a beautiful collection!

Love – It’s really a nice fall collection. I went looking for it yesterday at Sally’s but it’s not in yet. I am thinking I need to order it via mail ’cause my Sally’s never gets in more than 4 or 5 of each shade and they are gone ASAP.
