Happy July! I can’t believe how fast June went by – It’s crazy! And even crazier to think my little baby is going to be turning THREE this Friday! Where did the time go? Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texture Spray & Lush Sea Spray – I have been loving these two sea salt sprays! I’ve been trying not to use as much heat on my hair and these two products work so well either together or by themselves! As soon as I get out of the shower, I leave my hair up in a towel for a bit, brush it out and then spray the Not Your Mother’s in first and using that same towel to scrunch it and get it curly. I’ll then take my hairdryer on low and give it a quick dry for a few minutes and then go in with my Lush Sea Spray when my hair is fully dried. It creates perfect beach waves every single time! L’oreal Total Repair Damage Erasing Balm – Because I use so much heat on my hair and it’s been previously colored, I needed something to get it healthy again! I was sent this product a few months ago to try out and I am LOVING it! You apply it after shampooing and leave it in for 3-5 minutes. Rinse out, follow up with conditioner and voila! Your hair is silky smooth and feels awesome! Definitely a budget friendly alternative to the Macadamia Deep Repair Masque! Where To Buy – Drugstores – $7.95
I Love Juicy Shampoo – As far as shampoo goes this month, I have finally tried my first one from Lush! I Love Juicy is one of their most popular ones and helps to battle oily and greasy hair. Valentino ‘Valentina ‘ Eau de Parfum – Usually in the summer months, I tend to use more body sprays but if I’m going out I love a good perfume! Valentina has been my most used one for the month of June! It has a very very strong floral scent, so if you’re not into that you most likely will not be a fan of this! Victoria’s Secret Pink Summer Daze Body Spray – For days I’m headed to the pool or just running errands, I’ll throw on Summer Daze from Victoria’s Secret. I can’t even describe the heavenly scent that this is. It’s so fresh and light and just smells like Summer. I got this at their Semi Annual Sale for around $3 so definitely check to see if your local store has any left in stock! Where To Buy – Victoria’s Secret – $6.99
Makeup!
Benefit It’s Potent! Eye Cream – I have just started to use eye cream.. Horrible right? I really needed a cream that was going to hydrate and de-puff those bags and I have found it! It’s Potent brightens and fades dark circles. It also has a really nice cooling sensation when you apply it, which I love! Where To Buy – BenefitCosmetics.com- $34
Revlon ColorStay Concealer – This concealer has been sitting in my makeup stash unopened for ages! I have always just reached for something else (Probably because I was too lazy to open it) but I am so glad I finally took the plunge in June! This concealer is absolutely fabulous! I am only using this for under my eyes and it really brightens them and gets rid of those horrible dark circles. I love it! Where To Buy – Drugstores – $7.99
L’oreal True Match Lumi Foundation – Another hidden gem I tried out last month! I feel like no one ever talks about this foundation! I was looking for a medium to full coverage drugstore foundation that would give off a dewy finish and saw my girl Nicole Guerriero talk about how much she loves this, so I decided to give it a shot. The coverage is amazing and has a fantastic lasting power. I was able to wear this without having to touch up for 9 solid hours. My blush & bronzer were still in tact as well (That’s how you know the foundation rocks!) It made my skin glow and look so healthy. I will definitely be purchasing this again once I run out! NYX Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator (Gleam) – I have been mixing a tiny drop of this in with my L’oreal True Match foundation and I’m obsessed. It gives off a gorgeous sheen to the face without making you look oily. You can totally see I went to town on this tube.. it’s almost gone! You can also apply this on it’s own if you don’t want to mix in with your foundation! Where To Buy – Ulta & ulta.com – $6.99
Milani Easybrow in Natural Taupe – BEST. DRUGSTORE. BROW PENCIL. EVER. I’m pretty sure that sums up how I feel about it! I was in the market for a new brow pencil because I was running low on my Tarte one and found this tucked all the way at the bottom of the display at my local Walmart. I have always been a fan of the Milani brow markers, so I gave this a whirl. I’m obsessed. It’s the BEST drugstore brow pencil I have used in a long time. MAC Rich Glance Powerchrome Eye Pencil – I picked this up from MAC’s Temperature Rising collection because I had never tried any of these eye pencils from MAC before. My sister in law Lisa raves about them and now I can see why! They are so creamy and pigmented. I have been using mine on it’s own or you can use it as a base as well. Also works wonderful as an eye liner! If you can still get your hands on this, try it out! The only downside is I wish it twisted up.. It’s such a pain having to sharpen! nordstrom.com – $21
Rich Glance Swatch
Wet n Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana – Not really sure why W&W calls this a bronzer because it’s super light. I have been using mine for a highlight! (It’s also matte!) I love that it also has SPF15 in it as well – You don’t see that too often! And can we just point out how MASSIVE these are? I’m pretty sure I’ll have this for the rest of my life!
Maybelline Dream Sun Bronzer in Glow Light – Maybelline just released a limited edition set of bronzers and they are fabulous! I have still seen them in drugstores, so pick them up while you can! Glow Light is a light bronze with a subtle sheen. I dust this lightly all over my face to warm up my skin. Works great! Where To Buy – Drugstores – $8.99 (No link online)
Buxom Bronzer in Tahiti – So I’m sort of cheating here. I got this bronzer last week and have only used it twice. BUT those were the best days ever. (ha ha) No but seriously. I can’t even begin to describe the love I have for Tahiti. Not only is the color absolutely GORGEOUS, it’s scented! YES! It smells like almond joys and summer mixed in one. Is this making any sense? Jordana Blush in Coral Sandy Beach – Why have I waited so long to try these? You cannot beat the affordable price of $2.49 AND they are incredibly pigmented. Very finely milled and are so soft. I’m pretty sure I need every single one. I actually have about 10 or so that I’m going to be swatching and doing a full review on! They are insanely gorgeous. Lip Favorites! MAC Lady At Play, Revlon Lover’s Coral, Revlon Pango Peach & Buxom White Russian
I’ve definitely been loving coral lips lately – They are so fun and vibrant for the summer! Tell me your favorite Coral lip color – I need to expand! 😉
MAC Lady At Play – This lipstick is part of their permanent line, so it’s readily available. It’s a nice mixture of coral and tangerine. The Mineralize lipsticks are definitely some of my favorite. They glide on smooth and the pigmentation & staying power are great! Where To Buy – MAC – $22
Revlon Lover’s Coral – This lipstick is part of Revlon’s new ‘Shine’ finish line. I love it! It’s a bit sheer so you will have to build up the color to your liking. But other than that, I think they are killing it with their new line of lipsticks & glosses! Where To Buy – Drugstores – $7.99
Revlon Pango Peach Lipgloss – Another new release from Revlon! They have repackaged and come out with some new lip gloss colors. There are a wide variety of colors from nude to dark berry. Buxom Lip Gloss in White Russian – If you have never tried a Buxom lip gloss, make White Russian your first! It’s a simple everyday nude pink color that looks great on everyone! I keep this in my makeup bag at all times just for small touchups throughout the day. Where To Buy – Sephora – $19

Ohhh there were so many! I’m a huge Lush fan to begin with, so the Juicy Shampoo definitely appeals, as does the Sea Spray. I also liked the Buxom gloss, as well as the Mac Powerchrome eye pencil.

My favorite are the coral lipsticks. I just bought my first two by Loreal. I’m too lazy to walk downstairs to tell you the colors though.. something like tropical coral was one of them.

My favorite product in June has been the Urban Decay beauty balm. I use it as a primer. It’s nice, and provides a good base for mineral and liquid foundations and it doesn’t feel heavy.
