Orange. It’s vibrant energy and modern edge ignites fashion and beauty big time in Korea, Asia and the world. It’s one of the new global super shades that pops with sizzle and cool sophistication. MAC loves a color with international impact and has translated the trend into a makeup collection for face, lips and nails. From nail lacquer in sweet pop to sizzling Tangerine Dream lipstick – it’s a homage to orange.
MAC’s All About Orange collection is a fairly small collection with quite a few re-promotes. I do have to admit, I was totally scared when I saw this was centered around everything Orange. I’m not usually one who can pull off an orange lip, but give me some coral & peach and I can rock it! The collection consists of the following :
Powder Blush ($21 USD) :
Royal Sunset (Satin Finish) – Soft Cool Peach
Immortal Flower (Satin Finish) – Bright Peach (Repromote)
Honey Jasmine (Satin Finish) – Soft Warm Coral
CremeSheen Glasses ($20) : (All repromoted)
Imperial Light – Light Peach With Gold Shimmer
Double Happiness – Light Nude With Gold Shimmer
Rising Sun – Bright Orange With Gold Shimmer
Eyeshadow Quad ($40) :
Rainy Season : Arctic Grey, Courtly Grey, Typographic & Rainy Season
Nail Lacquer ($16) :
Fiestaware (Repromoted)
Morange (Repromoted)
Ke Ai
Sweet Pop
Lipsticks ($15) :
Neon Orange – Bright clean orange – Amplified (Perm)
Sushi Kiss – Midtone coral cream – Satin
Tart & Trendy – Bright neutral orange cream – Lustre

I have several of the products to show & talk to you about, so let’s jump right in!
L-R – Royal Sunset, Immortal Flower, Honey Jasmine
I could not wait to get my hands on the blushes in this collection! I am a huge blush junkie and always looking to experiment. All of the blushes are a satin finish which is probably my favorite MAC blush finish. I found all three of them to be very pigmented and easy to work with and blend out. Don’t be scared of that orange one! It actually blends really gorgeous on the skin.
Royal Sunset – Warm pink with a hint of coral. This one is GORGEOUS! If you only end up getting one blush from this collection, this should be it!
Immortal Flower – It’s described as a bright peach, but it’s definitely a light peachy coral. Very easily buildable and goes on smooth.
Honey Jasmine – Medium orange coral. Don’t be scared of this one! It definitely looks more orange in the pan than it comes off on the skin. You can definitely sheer it out on the cheeks.
Imperial Light, Double Happiness, Rising Sun Cremesheen Glasses (All repromoted)
These might look pretty scary in the tubes, but they all tend to go on pretty sheer on the lips. I was bummed they didn’t have a bigger color payoff. If you’re familiar with MAC lipglasses, then you know those are quite sticky. I don’t find the cremesheen’s to be as sticky as those. They are definitely not moisturizing or hydrating and only last a few hours on my lips before I have to go ahead and reapply.
As you can see, they all pretty much look the same. I think they could have come up with some NEW amazing bright orange colors a la Fashion Sets. I would pass on these especially because there are so many other great colors in this line!
Ahh the lipsticks. My favorite part of this collection. There is seriously nothing like getting a new MAC lipstick. The sleek black box, the vanilla scent. It’s seriously heaven.
L-R – Sushi Kiss, Sweet & Sour, Razzledazzler & Flamingo
I want you all to RUN, not walk to your local MAC counter, Macy’s, Nordstrom wherever and get your hands on these! MAC has seriously outdone themselves with these colors and I am thrilled they decided to repromote Flamingo. They all applied super creamy and pigmented and really give your lips that pop of orange or coral that is so on trend for this season.
I took both of these in different lighting so hopefully you can get a better feel of what they really look like.
Sushi Kiss is a great coral color. If you don’t want to do full on orange on your lips, definitely give this one a whirl!
Sweet & Sour is a light coral color that I can’t get enough of! It’s a cremesheen and glides on like butter!
Razzledazzler is another light peachy shade that originally came out in 2007 in the Raquel Welch collection and then eventually again with a matching polish and lipglass. I actually saw this color at my local Cosmetic Outlet store a few weeks ago, so if you happened to miss it again, check yours!
Flamingo is seriously the star of the show here. Another shade that was repromoted and was originally in the Iris Apfel collection. If you don’t want to go full on peachy coral on your lips yet, Flamingo is a great transition color. It’s a pinky coral that looks stunning on! I am so excited to be able to add this to my Pink Pigeon & Party Parrot lipstick family!
Overall, I think this is a fantastic collection from MAC! Like I said, if you happen to be digging the orange trend right now, pick some of these up and give them a try!

Goodness I love me some orange, but I can’t quite wear it on my face, nails only. These look super cute, thanks for the great post ๐

I’m baffled that MAC didn’t include an orange eyeshadow palette with this collection!
Thanks for the great swatches and review! I love orange eyeshadow but I’m not sure if I like it on my lips. These aren’t quite as crazy orange as I thought they would be and do look much more wearable than I expected. ๐

I’ve been screaming Give me Orange for years and I’m so glad it’s finally mainstream and I certainly appreciate an entire collection of quality make up dedicated to one of my all time favorite colors. No need to be on a lookout for an occasional flash of orange in stores anymore. Finally! ๐
