Hi everyone! This is Emily from The Lacquerologist! I am so excited to be here on Love for Lacquer today! =) I wanted to do something special for this guest post, so I decided to attempt an abstract floral pattern…I’m loving how it came out! Sort of retro and bohemian at the same time. I was cruising Pinterest (as always) and found this beautiful piece of artwork by Rachel Gresham Designs that completely inspired me! You can see the original piece [here]! Let’s check it out….
I used shades from the new OPI Euro Centrale Collection for this look! I started with two coats of OPI My Vampire Is Buff, which I think is such a great base for nail art! I then used my dotting tool and the following shades to create the “flowers”: OPI Can’t Find My Czechbook, OPI My Paprika Is Hotter Than Yours, and OPI I Saw…U Saw…We Saw…Warsaw. I used Wet N Wild Wild Shine Black Creme to add the dots around the flowers and It’s So Easy StripeRite in black for the stems. I went in with my dotter and OPI Suzi’s Hungary Again! to add some decorative dots and that was it! My favorite top coat, Out the Door, sealed everything in to a high gloss shine.
So what do you think of this retro floral? I’m always looking for easy ways to use my dotting tools to create fun designs, and I think this was definitely a hit! =) Thanks for reading, and I hope you all enjoyed my guest post! If you want to check out more of my nail art and swatches, head over to my [BLOG] and [FACEBOOK]! I’d love to see you there! <3

Thanks Angie! I’m glad you like it! =)
You are so clever and talented! I just got some nail art brushes, but I’m still learning how to paint my nails neatly (without mess). Hope to one day be able to do some nice nail art as well.
Love it!
This is really cute!
This has to be my favourite of your latest manicure designs! :)) Love it! <3
