Who’s ready for another Holiday collection!? Nicole by OPI & The Kardashian’s have teamed up once again to bring you 6 new polishes for the Christmas season! I was really excited when I got these, but once I swatched them I was a bit disappointed. Mostly because a few of the colors didn’t translate very well onto the nail and my camera didn’t want to pick up ANYTHING I needed it to. But let’s take a look anyways!
All Is Glam, All Is Bright – This was hands down my favorite of the collection! A mix of very fine silver & red glitters that goes on opaque in two coats. This reminds me out of something from Candy Land. haha!
A Gold Winter’s Night – Various sizes & shapes of gold, green & pink glitters. I used this one on its own so you can really see the glitters. This would look awesome over a gold polish!
Deck The Dolls – My camera hated this color with a passion. It didn’t want to pick up the beautiful shimmer and just how cerulean blue it is. It was on the sheer side, so you will definitely need three thin coats to get full opacity.
Here We Kome A Karoling – Beautiful shimmery dark purple. Except you can’t see the shimmer AT ALL inside. Once you go outside, the sunlight really picks it up. Another one that my camera hated.. A bunch of other bloggers who swatched this have a MUCH better photo of it than I do!
Kardashing Through The Snow – Clear base packed with small multi colored glitters. I have SO many glitters with the same color family, but there’s something different about this one. Very pretty! I layered this over Sealed With A Kris from a previous Kardashian collection.
Keeping Up With Santa – A fiery glowy vampy red. Just beautiful! My only complaint with this one is it started to form tiny tiny bubbles about a minute or two after I applied it. Photo below shows two coats.
Overall, I think this is a pretty good collection (If you’re not trying to photograph like a maniac) I was just so frustrated with the whole thing, which is why I have been holding onto this post for awhile. All is Glam, All is Bright is definitely the star of the show here for me!
