Happy FRIDAY! I hope you all have some amazing plans for the weekend! If you’re headed out shopping for some new Fall vampy colors, this is definitely the post for you! I have six gorgeous colors from the ‘A Royal Affair’ collection that will blow your mind!
Crown Royal – Darkened olive green with golden shimmer. This went out great with two coats. If you’re looking for an alternative to butter LONDON Wallis, definitely pick this one up.
Aristocrat – I had to go out in the sun to get an accurate photo of this baby! Beautiful purple cream.
Knights Honor – Dark smoky grey with a slight frosty finish. I had a little bit of application trouble with this one. It was semi streaky and kept bubbling up at the tips.
Lords & Ladies – Nice deep plum cream. Opaque in two coats.
Queens Coronation – Another purple in this collection. In the bottle, this is a beautiful light purple with hints of pink and silver microshimmer. Unfortunately, the micro shimmer barely made it onto the nail. This was three coats & taken in natural sunlight.
The Kings Navy – Beautiful royal navy blue with the same silver micro shimmer that is in Queens Coronation. It again failed to make it on the nail. Below is two coats.

Lacquer Lowdown – Overall, I think this is a really pretty collection. I did have a few application issues where there was some bubbling at the tips and some pooling. I do think 3 purples in this collection was a little excessive. I would have loved to see a dark red or green!
