Hey guys! Sorry I have been a little MIA the past couple of days. My son & I are just getting over a nasty cold so it’s been pretty lazy around here! But of course I couldn’t miss the Pink Wednesday post! Today I have 4 brand new Essie colors they released for the Breast Cancer Awareness Collection.
Check Up – Mid toned pink with hints of fuchsia This one was pretty easy to apply. Very opaque and creamy. Picture below shows 2 coats.
Good Morning Hope – Sheer baby pink. This one is buildable in three coats if you want a more opaque finish.
I Am Strong – Another creamy mid toned pink. This one is a tad lighter than Check Up. Formula was great as well. Photo below shows 2 coats.
We’re In It Together – Sheer baby pink with an iridescent shimmer. This was the worst of the 4 for me. The formula was a disaster. Very thick and difficult to work with. And the beautiful shimmer that is in the bottle barely transferred onto the nail.
Which are your favorites from this collection? Be sure to check out the other lovely bloggers participating in Go Pink Wednesday!

Having lost family and friends to Breast Cancer I tend to stay away from the Pink Ribbon products because a lot of them do not actually give all that much money to research. I’ve also had family members and a friend say to me if I see another pink ribbon I’m going to shove it up your *** well you can figure that one out I also have backed away from Essie because their formulas seemed to have changed for a while and not in a good way Until I saw these 3 beauties and all my logic went out the window. Why because the colors are vibrant and don’t make me thing breast cancer. There a four amazing colors all with great formula so here is to hoping Essie listened to their customers This is a great set of breast cancer polishes that doesn’t scream that and they are all colors you will use

I totally agree with We’re In It Together. Formula is thick and streaky. Never ran into that with Essie (or OPI) before. Disappointing. V. Disappointing.
