Whoo hoo! A second post today! I was going to save this for Monday, but once I instagram’d a sneak peek photo, my notifications blew up & I decided to just go ahead and post this afternoon. I have had the Deceptive collection for quite some time now and have been trying to figure out what they look best over. My answer? Black. Straight up black cream polish. (Cult Nails Nevermore to be exact) This is probably one of THE best collections that Maria has put out to date. I’m completely obsessed with how these can transform your plain old manicure. Let’s look!!
Charlatan – This is the one I posted on Instagram last night! I put this one and immediately went Are.You.Kidding.Me. I RAN downstairs to show Chris because I was so freaking excited.. (He of course wasn’t as excited as I was lol) I need about 15 backups on this polish. I tried to capture it as BEST as I could on camera, but it’s a tricky little guy! This first pic was taken with my iPhone and the next 2 were taken with my Canon. I can’t even deal with how gorgeous.
Deception – Sheer top coat with a purple & pink sheen. Look at that! How beautiful is that going to be for Fall mani’s!?
Alter Ego – So based on the bottle, I was totally expecting this to pull light pink.. I was wrong! It’s a olive green & gold top coat! Whoa! SO gorgeous! Reminds me of a slightly darker butter LONDON Wallis.
Doppelganger – Another one that surprised me! This is white in the bottle and then once you layer over black it pulls a sort of dusty blue with shimmer. Gorgeous!
Two Timer – This one is completely different than Alter Ego. Two Timer pulls more emerald while Alter is more olive toned. Still an amazing color!
I can’t even put into words how freaking amazing this collection is.If you have been on the fence.. take the plunge and get it. These are going to transform your plain old mani into something extraordinary. Amazing job Maria!
