Happy Wednesday! A few weeks back, Milani contacted a few bloggers and asked them to recreate 4 nail trends using only Milani lacquers. I hesitated at first.. only because I am not the best at nail art. We all know that. But I figured I would give it the old college try! And I have to say, I am SO glad I did it. It was a challenge for me.. but it really helped me to step outside of my box and experiment. So THANK YOU Milani for giving me the chance! The picture below were the 4 looks we had to recreate. They didn’t have to be exact.. Just inspiration.
And here are my four looks!
ColorBlock – I used Neon Teal & Jiffy Orange for the solid colors and my all time favorite glitter ‘Gems’ as a little pop of sparkle!
Glamazon – The base is Silver Dazzle and with a cosmetic sponge, I used Milani Jewel FX in gold & fuchsia.
Gilded Rebel – This one was so fun for me to do! The base is Gold Glitz and then I used Black swift to create the tips. (I used scotch tape for these!)
Haute Rod – This was one I ended up doing over. The first design came out SO crappy and I wasn’t pleased with it.. but this one I love! Using scotch tape I sectioned off the nail and painted one half black swift & the other rapid cherry. To give it a little bling, I sponged on some gold glitz.
