Today I have the pleasure of showing you two gorgeous colors from the company GIELLA. Giella actually has a ‘Custom Blend Bar’ on their site and you can customize your own cosmetics! Whether it be foundation, blush, lipstick and even nail polish, the possibilities are endless!
You can also send them a discontinued makeup product and they will MATCH IT! Seriously, that is so awesome. All you have to do is send them the product and all of your info and they will match it for you! (And of course send you the original packaging back) And yes ladies, this can also be done for nail polish! I am so tempted to send in my bottle of OPI Damone Roberts 1968 and see if they can do it! I had the pleasure of trying out two of their polishes for you and I have to say they are the creamiest most opaque polishes I have ever used! Let’s check em out!
Pistachio – An amazing mint green color. I knew as soon as I saw this one on their site, I HAD to have it! This went on perfectly in ONE coat. No streaks, no application issues. So happy to add another mint polish to my ever growing collection!
Dollface – The most perfect shade of pink. Like Pistachio, this went on flawlessly in one perfect coat. Seriously LOVING these polishes!
I was also sent their Cuticle Oil to review as well. ANOTHER fantastic product. This product comes in a twist pen applicator and has all natural ingredients such as avocado, kukui, grapeseed and / or tea tree oil. *Retails for $18*
(Whoops! I got a little polish on it!)
I would love to order some customizable products in the future. And even have them try & dupe some of my favorite polishes & lipsticks that are now discontinued! Have you tried GIELLA before? What are your thoughts?
Availability – GIELLA.COM
Price – Nail Polish retails for $25
Lacquer Lowdown – The only downside to this company is the very VERY high prices. $25, in my opinion, is extremely outrageous for a cream nail polish. Granted the application was flawless.. I just don’t think they are worth that much. Maybe if I was to customize my own color or have them try and dupe one for me it might be worth it.. But not for a mint green that I probably already have in my collection. Other than that, the polish application was fantastic!
