Good Morning everyone! May the 4th be with you! (ha ha) Are you ready to see swatches of the new OPI Spiderman collection?! I was so excited to get these from my good friend Jill at Glisten & Glow. I will be reviewing the entire collection minus the shatter. Let’s get started!
Your Web Or Mine? – Let’s start off with my LEAST favorite of this collection. A frosty pink. I’m not sure how this made it into this set.. I was really hoping for a nice crisp red. I’m sure there are a ton of people who LOVE colors like this, but I personally don’t think this screams SPIDERMAN to me.
Call Me Gwen-Ever – In LOVE with this dark tangerine orange color. It’s absolutely perfect! It does also tend to lean in on the coral side as well. It’s not as bright as shown in the photo because we all know how crazy difficult it is to capture oranges, but it is so gorgeous! I used 2 coats for the photo below!
My Boyfriend Scales Walls – This is definitely not your typical stark white. It has a light grey undertone to it which really makes it stand out. I was really impressed with how well it applied.. not streaky and completely opaque in two coats!
Number One Nemesis – Dark grey / green shimmer. I really thought this was going to be a dupe for Lucerne Tainly Look Marvelous, but the two are definitely different. There’s mixes of grey, green, silver & blue shimmer all throughout. Another one difficult to capture on camera, but I promise you.. it’s unbelievable!
Into The Night – Royal, bright shimmery blue. I freaking love this color. The only downside is the first coat was very sheer.. so you will definitely need at least three coats. This definitely reminds me of Spiderman .. way to go Suzi!!
Just Spotted The Lizard – WOW. Absolute favorite! Beautiful green / gold duo chrome.. maybe even a triple chrome?! This has been compared to Chanel Peridot and I have to say.. it’s spot on.. so for those of you who don’t want to pay $25 for a Chanel polish, this is amazing news for you! If you guys want to see a comparison, let me know! The formula was amazing.. It definitely went on better than Peridot and only needed two full coats.
(Fail for the nail print)
Minus Your Web Or Mine?, I really enjoy this collection. These are definitely all year round colors. My Boyfriend Scales Walls is going to look stunning in the summer with a tan! What does your spider-sense think about these colors?
Availability – Ulta, Bloom.Com Salons such as JCPenny, Trade Secret, Regis and wherever else OPI is authorized to be sold!
Price – $8.50
Lacquer Lowdown – A- .. I still would have loved to seen a beautiful dark red instead of the frosty pink. My top picks are – Call Me Gwen-Ever, Just Spotted The Lizard, Into The Night & My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

Yeah, I don’t get why they used pink instead of red either. I really like Number One Nemesis.
