So you LOVE glitter polishes.. but HATE the removal process. I’m sure we’ve all been there. Steered away from gorgeous chunky glitters because the thought of trying to remove it off of your nails after a few days would only be a nightmare. Well.. GOOD NEWS! I have recently discovered the foil method. It works wonders! Bring on the chunky glitter goodness!
What You’ll Need:
Cotton Balls or cotton pads (I don’t recommend the extra large kind for this)
Pure acetone nail polish remover
Strips of aluminum foil
Step 1 – Soak your cotton ball or pad in remover & place in the middle of foil
Step 2 – Wrap your finger with the foil & cotton pad, making sure your nail is fully covered
Step 3 – Wait about 5-6 minutes and twist the foil off
Voila! Your glitter is successfully removed! All you should have to do now is minor cleanup! It’s honestly the best removal process in the world. This will save you TONS of time trying to scrub off those large hexagonal glitters!
Do you guys use this method? Isn’t it the BEST?!

it REALLY is! i like to do one hand at a time, and just pop the foil on the other nails.

This also works well to get rid of gel polishes

I have yet to try the foil method. I rarely wear glitter unless I’m swatching it or doing nail art with it. Then it usually comes right off because I change it for another swatch.
I tagged you in a post if you’re interested. π http://sun-driedlacquer.blogspot.com/2012/02/11-or-22-questions.html
