Bootie Babe ~ Review & Swatches

Shake your booty! I’ve had this song in my head since I received these polishes in the mail today. And you probably would too!

Bootie Babe® is a new beauty and fashion brand developed by SuperBooty LLC based in San Francisco. The company began in August 2010 and quickly set out to design their first line of nail polish. SuperBooty President and CEO Mark O’Hara wanted to create a humorous, bold and truly unique beauty product that would literally “stand out” from the competition. (I’m pretty sure he succeeded on that) This line is made up of 12 bright fun colors with names such as Hella Baloo, Purp Slurp, Slinky Pinky & Lilac Lunatic. And they are 3 Free & Cruelty free! Rock on booties!

I was lucky enough to receive three of these little guys.. (eh butts?) and I have to say, they’re even cuter in person. Weird, yes. But hilarious. The colors I’m showing you today are Pinky Dinky, Blue Baboo & Purp Slurp.

Crazy right? It’s almost as if they have a “package” .. Some of you on facebook were calling it a camel toe (lolz)

Baby got back! These booties are NO JOKE. It’s like they looked at a Kardashian butt and said hm.. here’s our model.

Purp Slurp ~ An electric deep purple

I was pleasantly surprised as to how well this polish applied. I only needed two coats for it to be fully opaque. I will say the only difficult part is how small the cap is for the brush. But I made it work!

Blue Baboo ~ My favorite! Gorgeous robin egg blue

I do have to say, it was kind of awkward trying to pose with these little booties. They are kind of small.. and well.. round.

Pinky Dinky ~ Light baby pink with a HINT of shimmer

This one was the most difficult for me. It was thick and gloopy and was very hard to get full coverage. I kept having to go back and filling in the bald spots. Still a pretty color.

Overall, I have to give these an A. The idea is genius, the colors were great.. and come on.. who wouldn’t want these to sit on their nail polish racks?! Well done Bootie Babe Cosmetics!
