Ellagee Polish – Dolphins! What? Collection – Swatches & Review

Good afternoon loves! Today I have a BRAND NEW collection from Ellagee to share with you! This collection just released this afternoon and is called “Dolphins! What?” and has.. you guessed it.. DOLPHIN glitter in all 7 shades! (I have 6 out of the 7 to share with you!) Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe this is the first indie to use dolphin glitter! How awesome is that? Let’s take a look at the collection!

*Before I share the swatches, I do want to note you need to be *patient* with these polishes. The dolphins were a bit tricky to get out but I would recommend sitting the polish upside down for a few minutes or giving it a good shake. Once you do that, you will have no problems retrieving them! I would also recommend using a thicker top coat so the dolphins don’t snag on anything!*

Dolphins Of The Caribbean – Silver holo dolphin glitters swimming in a teal jelly base with tiny sheer white & iridescent glitters.  The dolphins! Application & formula was spot on and because it is a jelly, I used 3 coats for full opacity plus a top coat. 


Ermahgerd! Derfens! – Silver holo dolphin glitter in a hot pink jelly base with tiny magenta, turquoise & copper glitters.  Absolutely love this one! Again, I used three coats plus top coat for full opacity. 
Life Is De Bubbles – Silver holo dolphin glitter in a baby blue jelly base with transparent pink, blue purple & iridescent bubble glitters.  Definitely my FAVORITE from this collection! The jelly base color is perfect and reminds me of the ocean! Photo below shows three coats plus top coat. 
Nai’a – The Hawaiian word for Dolphin. Silver holo dolphin glitter in a clear base with hot pink, orange, turquoise & purple glitters.  I have this layered over Tillie Polish Raspberry Macaron and I love the two together! Photo below shows two coats of Tillie & 2 coats of Nai’a plus top coat. 
Purple & Dolphins & Rainbows! Oh My! – Silver holo dolphin glitter in a plum holo jelly base with rainbow colored glitters.  Ah this one is so fun! Loving the rainbow glitters mixed in with the dolphins. Photo below shows three coats plus top coat. 
So Long, And Thanks For All The Fish – Silver holo dolphin glitter in a deep blue / black jelly base with tiny silver holo glitters.  Photo below shows three coats plus top coat. 
Overall, I think this is an adorable and genius collection. Even though it took some time to get the dolphins onto the nail, it was so worth it! The color combos are perfect and I didn’t have any issues with any of the formulas.

    OMG, the dolphin glitters! I haven’t seen any other Indie using them, either! I hope they stand the test of time – curled dolphin glitters would not be cute!
