Mending Kit > Popped a button on your dress? Worst nightmare. Sew it up quick!
Dental Floss > Girl.. you do NOT want to be kissing your man with salad in your teeth.
Safety Pin > Can’t sew? No problem.. That’s what safety pins are for!
Earring Backs > I lose earring backs left & right. This is so helpful in case one falls out!
Clear Nail Polish > A MUST have if you get a run or hole in your tights. Throw a little on and you’re good to go the rest of the night.
Deodorant Towelette > You’re going to be dancing the night away during Prom, you don’t want to be stinky!

Could this be any more perfect? Like I said, I am WAY too old to be going to prom, but I keep this in my purse and I can’t even begin to tell you how often it gets used.

I think we need a guy version. I little envelope that could fit in a suit jacket. With band aid, breath strips, spot cleaner, extra cell battery and a better-safe-than-sorry condom? (I know but still, things happen at prom!) I think I am going to invent it. Don’t steal my idea! ha ha ha ha ha
I almost feel as if someone invaded my purse! lol I’ve carried, in a small baggie, things like this since I was about 13-14 years old and I’m now 47 and still carry these things, just in case. I couldn’t even begin to tell you how often I’ve pulled that baggie out to save myself or a classmate or co-workers hiney at the last minute. Some other items you can tuck into it: a couple of bobby pins, hair barret, a pad (for those who don’t like tampons), a condom (yes, ladies, you should carry one as well in case the guy is ‘out’ and check it periodically to make sure the package is okay), a pre-paid debit card or enough cash with cab fare for a ride home in case your ‘date’ decides in the middle he doesn’t want to be your date any more (sad, but it does happen-our Prom King & Queen broke up in the middle of our Prom!), and anything you feel you would or might need that is small enough to fit without causing any undue hardship to carry. Kits like these can be little life-savers, not just for Prom, but for every day life. :0)
As a funny, I’ve always been known to carry screwdrivers, pliers, and jumper cables in my purse, just in case. lol Well, you never know, right? 😉
