Good afternoon! Today I have 7 Nicole by OPI shades to share with you that are exclusive to CVS stores! I swatched these last week while my camera battery was dying. So you’ll see in the last few pictures a bit of blurriness. Completely my fault and I wanted to get this post up as soon as possible so I didn’t bother reswatching. Sorry!
“Nicole by OPI is excited to provide the CVS customer with lacquers that can work with any style – from office formal to soccer practice sporty to date night dressy,” explains Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Nicole by OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director. “I consider these lacquers ‘new neutrals’ because they can be worn any day, at any time. In the past, certain shades and textures were considered appropriate only for specific occasions, but now, nothing is taboo when it comes to wearing color.
“The CVS shopper leads a fast-paced lifestyle, but she doesn’t want to sacrifice fashion-forward, stylish colors,” adds Weiss-Fischmann. “When she shops at CVS, she knows she’ll be able to find all of her beauty essentials in one convenient place.”
I Sea And Raise You – My FAVORITE from these new shades! This is a beautiful creamy ocean blue. Photo below shows two coats.
Don’t Overpink It – Rosy pink cream. I feel like there are so many dupes out there of this color, so I would pass. It’s beautiful though! Photo below shows two coats.
Feeling Grapeful – Another favorite – I LOVE anything purple so it’s a no brainer this is at the top of my list. So creamy and delish! Photo below shows two coats.
Always A Silver Lining – This one was just okay for me. It was rather streaky and uneven. Photo below shows two coats.
Marooned In Paradise – Deep deep burgundy I like this one as well. It was fairly easy to work with and such an ‘IT’ color right now. Photo below shows two coats.
Personally Speaking – NOPI describes this as an ‘airy rose’ .. I describe it as a hot mess. I don’t personally care for colors like this. They remind me of something my Grandma would wear. Plus, the formula was not up to par. Not a good match for me. Photo below shows two coats.
Pinker Shade Of Pale – Blush pink – Another one that was pretty difficult to work with. I encountered a ton of streakiness with this shade. If you were to pick this up, I highly suggest a ridge filler. Photo below shows two coats.
Do any of these shades catch your eye? I highly recommend I Sea And Raise You.. definitely a standout in my book!
