Hey everyone! So in my previous Sally Hansen post, I asked you guys which colors you wanted me to swatch next for you.. Well.. I ended up swatching *4* today! That’s A LOT for me considering I have a small child to take care of!
Before we get started, I have a couple things to talk about.. The first thing is the WIN-ter Wonderland Giveaway. I cannot believe I went from 28 followers to almost 90! You guys are incredible! As soon as I hit 100 followers, I will post a teaser of the prize AND then make it official that 2 winners will be chosen on December 8th. *IF* I hit 150 followers, the prize will be MUCH MUCH larger than I already plan on it being! If you wish to sign up for this giveaway, the post is one below this. You have to be a follower & you must fill out the provided spreadsheet. Any questions or concerns can be sent to loveforlacquer07@gmail.com.
The second thing I want to tell you guys is.. If you’re a fan of my Facebook page ~ facebook.com/loveforlacquer, a special holiday fairy will be joining us next week. What does that mean you ask? Well.. this fairy can throw some dust your way and *maybe* you’ll get some nail polish or other fun gifts! You just have to catch her attention! She’ll be arriving this coming Monday, December 5th.. So make sure you “like” the page to get in on the fun!!
And now onto the swatches! Enjoy girls!
All of the following Sally Hansen colors are from this years designer series. The following, Terracotta was inspired by Rachel Roy. Terracotta is a creamy neutral shade. I was afraid of this one in the bottle, but once I put it on.. it was so pretty!
This was 2 coats.. Probably could have used a third.. but two was good enough.
The next one is Ballet Rouges. I *love* this one! It reminds me of a crayola crayon. The formula was great.. very creamy!
This was 3 coats ๐
The next one is Shiny Penny. I was really really excited for this one. You all know how much I love Revlon’s Copper Penny.. I’m a sucker for a foil! When I started painting, the formula was pretty thin. I don’t know if it was just my bottle, but it took me a couple of tries to get it to stop streaking all over my nail. And there was a lot of cuticle floodage. (is that a word?) Don’t get me wrong, the color is beautiful. If you can work with it, it will look awesome on your nails.
This was 3 coats!
and last but not least.. one of my favorites. Madame X. (Pay no attention to the smudge!! ARGH) The name alone makes it awesome. This is a gorgeous red color.. and I am so mad my camera decided to crap out and not focus this properly. It’s the perfect shade of red and would look stunning around the holidays!
This was 2 coats! How pretty is that??
And that’s all I have! If you want to see the rest.. (I think I have 3 left to swatch) let me know! I definitely want to get the remainder of this collection. The colors are so fab!
What do you think? Will you be picking any of these up? AND! are you excited about the secret fairy that’s going to be taking over the facebook page!? ๐
xoxo
*Sally Hansen CSM can be purchased at your local drugstore or ulta.com for $7-$8 a bottle*

I’m. It sure about these colors. There are so many great shades out there so I will probably skip there’s for some sparkle and richness. Not go to colors. Love you though!

Laur ~ I seriously have no idea. I was lucky enough to be able to swatch these 4 while Rylan napped and then write this looong blog post while he plays quiet in the living room. Craziness.

oh Madame X is stunning, such a classic red color! Perfect for the holidays. Loving Copper Penny as well. Need to get my hands on a bottle of that, I don’t think I have any dupes of it or anything remotely similar!
Way excited about next week. can’t wait to read/hear about the Fairy and her fairy dust. ๐

Jess, is the Madame X an orange red or a true red red?
Didn’t think I’d like the shiny penny color but I think it’s fabulous. ๐ฎ )
