Hey everyone! I got to thinking the other day, how helpful it would be if I did a Holiday gift guide. I’m a huge sucker for holiday packaging, Holiday gift sets & exclusive Holiday nail polish. I thought it would be fun if I did this post and also made some of it NON nail polish as well. I tried my best to list where I got everything & the price range. If you need help finding anything, please let me know & I’ll do my best to help! Let’s get started!! π
The first couple things I pulled are more stocking stuffer gifts.. These can all be bought for under $10.
EOS Lip Balm. This product is SO freaking awesome & their packaging is adorable. It’s very moisturizing and comes in a bunch of different flavors. This one pictured is strawberry sorbet. I bought mine at Target for around $2.99.
They also come in 3 packs for the Holidays and can be purchased at Walgreens, Ulta, drugstore.com & Target. They look like this:
This one comes with strawberry sorbet, sweet mint & passion fruit. This 3 pack retails for about $8.99. Super cute.
Next up is one every girl should have! Makeup remover wipes!
I got these at CVS for like $1.00. These are handy to have in your purse or on your dresser!
Another stocking stuffer is of course a manicure / pedicure set! Perfect for the nail polish lover in your life. This was actually a gift from a dear friend so I’m unsure of the cost, but I’m pretty sure it was purchased at Forever 21. You can find these almost anywhere or be creative & make your own!
Moving onto a few items that will cost you more than $10…
First I have this ADORABLE Nicole by OPI ‘Tinsel Tips’ mini collection. My husband actually picked this up for me at TJMAXX.. and once I saw it.. I made him go back and grab a few more for a few of my girls!
This set retails for around $10 and comes with 3 mini Nicole by OPI polishes (All Holiday themed) and a set of jewel nail designs. Totally cute & affordable. The colors in the pack include ~ Spark my Mistletoe, Stuck in the Chimney & Kiss me at Midnight.
Sticking with the nail polish theme, I found these gems at Target. These are exclusive Holiday Nicole by OPI double sets and retail for $10 each. That’s $5 a polish! Total steal!! Of course I had to pick up both packages.
Colors are ~ Brrr Brrr Burgundy and Come In From the Coalβd & Chrome for the Holidays and You Can Sleigh That Again. Cute names.. even better price!
Another polish duo I found was again from TJMAXX. These are the OPI Serena Williams Glam Slam duo packs. These retail for around $7.99 at TJMAXX. I know you can also get them at Ulta for around $10.. so definitely check your local TJMAXX first!
Colors pictured are ~ Pros & Bronze / Love is a Racket & Grape, Set, Match / Servin’ up Sparkle.
Like I said, check your local TJMAXX first because they are obviously cheaper.. but I recently just saw these at my Ulta a few weeks back.
Another nail polish duo I found at CVS were these Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure three packs..Yes.. you heard that right.. THREE packs. Two FULL SIZE nail polish colors & a FULL SIZE top coat… for $9.99!!! They have 4 different sets you can choose from.. The one’s I decided to pick up were Glam & Chic. (The other ones are Flirty & Haute)
This next gift would be totally perfect for the ‘tween’ in your life. She loves polish.. but you don’t want to spend a ton of money.. So I happened to find this gift set by Wet & Wild at CVS.
You guys.. I got this for $5 on Black Friday. FIVE. DOLLARS. This set comes with 7 polishes, a top coat & a mini nail file. Pretty sure you can still get this at CVS! I picked up two & plan on gifting them!
The following are going to be a bit pricier, but these products are definitely worth the money.
Butter London Dressing Table Duo. This runs for $25 and can be purchased at Ulta or Ulta.com (I’m not sure if you can buy them directly from Butter London’s site..) This set comes with 2 Butter London polishes that normally retail for $14 each. So you’re technically saving $3.. and getting really cute packaging. This particular one has 2 of their limited edition Holiday colors for 2011. The Black Knight & Tart With A Heart.
So once again.. $25 and you can find it at your local Ulta or Ulta.com!
Another product I found at Ulta (Can you sense a pattern here?) was this OPI duo that also came with a makeup bag! This retailed for $14.99. OPI polishes alone are around $8.50, so you are technically getting some sort of deal because it does come with a free bag!
Colors pictured are ~ I’m Not Really A Waitress & William Tell Me About OPI. Perfect Fall / Winter colors!
Many of you know, Zoya is currently doing “Flash Promos” all throughout the holidays. I believe I talked a little bit about it in my last blog post. One of the coolest thing I was able to snag was one of their Color Boxes. A Zoya colorbox is a gorgeous black velvet box filled with 3 of their most popular colors. There are 12 different sets and it is SO hard to choose a favorite! They retail for $24, come in the pretty box and you get FREE expedited shipping. And they are not joking when they say expedited. I literally get my orders within 3 business days. It’s crazy. So the next gift idea.. is obviously.. one of their color boxes.
LOOK how pretty! I highly suggest checking them out.. They are doing a lot of Buy 2 get 2 Free promos on this right now!
The last nail polish set I have is from Urban Decay. They actually sent this set to me for review (Which I’m currently working on and should have up this weekend!!) I’m a huge Urban Decay fan and once I saw they had a holiday nail kit.. I freaked.
This set comes with 6 perfect sized bottles! The colors are so gorgeous! I don’t want to get too much into it.. (Gotta save something for the review! :p) This retails for $28 and can be purchased from UrbanDecay.com
So, I also have a few non-nail polish items that I purchased recently and would be some GREAT gifts! Guys.. are you listening? hah.
The first two products I have are lip products..
Tarte lip service limited edition lipsurgence collection.. (That’s a mouthful) I happened to be watching a Youtube video one night and the girl had this amazing color on her lips..come to find out.. it was one of the colors in this set. I had never heard of Tarte before buying this.. and now it has become one of my new favorite products! First of all, I can’t even get over the price of this..
Do you see that? $29. For FIVE lip crayons. ONE of these retails for $24. That’s insane. I purchased mine at Ulta.com… and when I realized how popular this set was.. purchased a backup on QVC.com. The quality is amazing.. the colors are so pigmented.. It’s a total win win. You know if I get a backup of something.. it’s an A+ in my book!
The next one I bought was from the brand Lorac. This is the bejeweled lip gloss collection. This was $25 and purchased from Ulta.com as well. These are said to be just as great as MAC dazzleglasses… and I agree! And the price is so much better as well! This is a $132 value!! These are FULL SIZED lip glosses. The packaging on these is so chic. I love the jewels on the caps!
The last items I have are all from Urban Decay. Two out of the three are readily available for purchase now and I believe the last item will be back in stock next week.. I’m not 100% sure.. sorry :
The first item is the Urban Decay Midnight Emergency Kit. I purchased this at Ulta during my birthday week. This is perfect for the girl on the go! It’s a portable 4 shadow palette & lip gloss kit wrapped in a gold zip around pouch. SO convenient! It’s small enough to throw in your purse and go from day to night in literally minutes.
This kit retails for $39.00. It includes 4 super pigmented eyeshadows including midnight cowboy, midnight 15, midnight rodeo & AC/DC. It also comes with a travel sized eyeshadow brush and a FULL SIZE lip junkie lipgloss in Midnight Cowboy. How awesome is that?! You can purchase this from UrbanDecay.com & Ulta!
Last but certainly not least.. are my stand outs.
Urban Decay Naked Palette. One of THE most talked about palette’s EVER. 12 gorgeous neutral eyeshadows, a Good Karma shadow brush and a mini Urban Decay primer potion.. wrapped in a chocolate brown velvet box. This kit retails for $48. Not a bad price considering ONE eyeshadow from Urban Decay will run you $17.
I love it. It’s one of my most reached for palette’s I have in my collection. If you gift this to someone, you’ll totally be on their good side for ages!
And.. last but not least.. let’s get naked again people!
Naked2. Because getting naked once wasn’t good enough. When I first heard Urban Decay was coming out with another Naked palette.. I thought I was going to die. This one literally came out 2 weeks ago and I had to make sure I got it the very first day it released. This palette has 12 shades including FIVE exclusive new ones, a double ended Good Karma brush & a mini size lip junkie gloss in the color ‘Naked’. This palette retails for $50.
I’m assuming they bumped up the price $2 because it’s now packaged in a metal tin and the brush is double sided. But who cares! It’s gorgeous! The shadows in both Naked & Naked2 are different.. in case you’re wondering if you really need both. If you’re a junkie like me.. you’ll most likely spring for both.. But if you want to choose just one.. Definitely go for Naked2.
I think that’s all I have! I can’t believe how long this post was.. I apologize! But I really hope I helped some of you out in case you were stuck as to what to get for your mom, aunt, friend, cousin ect. Let me know what you think in the comments below! if you want me to try & help you find some of these products or just want more information on anything.. feel free to email me at loveforlacquer07@gmail.com & I will do my best to assist you!
Happy Holidays!!

Love your gift guide. After seeing your post, I saw EOS products by the register in Walmart and picked up a few. I always like to give a little gift to everyone visiting my home during the holiday. This was the perfect little gift. I plan on stopping in TJ Maxx on my way home, and I will look for the Tinsel Tips to give to a few of my coworkers. I had already gotten something for them, but I think this is perfect for a few of them. Thanks for the ideas. Peggy
